The club endorsed Democratic Councilmember Janeese Lewis George (D-Ward 4) for mayor and Councilmember Robert White (D-At-Large) for delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives.

“This is just a fear-mongering tactic,” Lewis George told me last week about McDuffie’s attacks. “This has been brought up in every campaign I have ever run. It’s usually a Republican tactic.”

“We are living in a military state here in D.C., and we are militarily occupied. And we have federal agents who are enforcing laws in our streets.”
